Patricia Bauer, who has worked for the Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post, started a blog in 2007 that compiles news and commentary from the media about disability-related issues. It has quite a bit of information about intellectual disabilities and Down syndrome. Bauer is the mother of a young adult with Down syndrome, who is also a leukemia survivor.
