Georgia legislator proposes making violation of Open Records Act a felony

Here's an open records proposal with teeth. State Rep. Jill Chambers, R-Atlanta, said she plans to introduce a bill that would make it a felony, with a possible fine of up to $5,000, for violating the state Open Records Act. See story by The Associated Press.
