Writing contest and workshop
If you're interested in memoir writing, consider entering
The Writer Magazine Short Memoir Contest.
Prizes
are $1,000, first place; $300, second place; $200, third place. The
first-place entry, along with the finalist judge's comments, will be
published in The Writer magazine. All three winning entries will be
posted on
The Writer Web site.
The
other writer's magazine, Writer's Digest, will host a workshop
primarily for fiction writers on April 6 at Indiana University in
Bloomington. There will be similar workshops at other locations. Visit
