About SPJ Shield, SPJ's Legal Defense Fund Blog
The Legal Defense Fund raises money and provides grants to journalists involved in legal battles that have a wide-raning impact on journalism and journalists.
This blog will report on the activities of the LDF Committee that decides what grants to award and the LDF subcommittee that will help raise items for the annual auction.
