Libby's lawyer opposes release of letters

The lawyer for Scooter Libby, who was convicted of perrjury earlier this year, has asked a judge not to release letters asking for leniency that Libby supporters. The brief from Bill Jeffress is here.

You might remember that last week SPJ backed an effort from the Washington Post and Associated Press to spring loose the letters.
