A night to remember one heck of a paper and friend
Join us as we toast 146 years of bringing the news to Seattle and the region, as the state's oldest newspaper and continuously operating business.
On March 17, 2009, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer published its final edition, becoming yet another in a series of news journals to turn off the light on the printed word.
The P-I was more than daily words and musings, it was an old friend. And its pages will no longer be there on our doorsteps or cafeteria tables, ready to enlighten us to the realities of our world.
Please gather together with old friends as we salute and memorialize this great newspaper. All your favorite P-I folks, such as David Horsey and Art Thiel, will be there. And we'll have special guests and a musical performance of an original song written and dedicated the P-I.
Tickets are free. Please make a reservation for up to two (2) by calling (206) 331-1276 or sending an e-mail to
