East TN SPJ'ers coming in to our region

Don't look now, but the folks from the east are coming our way. A restructuring of the geographic borders for SPJ's board means that East Tennessee will become part of Region 12, along with Middle and West Tennessee (and Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana) ... The biggest chapter there, East Tennessee Pro, will be a tough act to follow. Last year they were named the nation's top small chapter as well as being the top small chapter in Region 3 and being named a "Circle of Excellence" chapter in the area of professional development.
