Do you have a cool idea for a panel discussion or workshop? We’d love to hear about it…NESPJ can help you turn your idea into a real, live successful event. Here’s how to get the ball rollin’:
1. Think of a topic. It could be a hands-on workshop, a networking party, or a book signing. Need inspiration? Check out these examples.
2. Pick a venue. Local colleges and universities are great for holding panel discussions and lectures. Restaurants, bars, and lounges are perfect for informal meetings and networking events. We’ve also hosted workshops in newsrooms.
3. Tell us about your idea. Download an NESPJ event proposal form, fill it out, and mail it to the chapter officers. After it’s approved, we can provide funding and assist in organizing and promoting the event. |
