Quill talks with Vanessa Leggett

COMING SOON
1/11/2002

Quill goes to the heart of the Vanessa Leggett story in its January/February issue.

Find out why the Texas writer spent more than 160 days in an 8-x-10 jail cell for refusing to turn over her notes and research in a murder-for-hire investigation.

Leggett tells Quill why protecting her sources is important – even if it means she has to go back jail. She also talks in detail about the case she is investigating and how serving time in jail affected her personally.

“I’m just doing what I hope anyone else similarly situated would do,” Leggett told the magazine. “I mean, you tell your sources you’re going to protect them, and if you say it, you should mean it.”

More on the interview with Leggett coming soon to Quill magazine and Quill online.
