2012 Reporters Institute

Where: The Poynter Institute, St. Petersburg, Fla.
Cost: $300 registration fee plus travel to St. Petersburg.
Application Information: Applications must be submitted by March 15, 2012. All applicants will be notified of their status on March 26.

Get Ready to Grow
You prepared for four years (or more) and now you're working 40 hours a week (or more) as a professional journalist.
You’ve graduated from college and been working professionally for no more than three years, and now you’re looking for the keys to a successful, long-term journalism career. You will find a good start at the SPJ Reporters Institute this summer in St. Petersburg, Fla.
The Institute was designed with you in mind, by industry trainers and young journalists who face many of the same challenges you are confronting every day. We want you to successfully face those challenges, and we want to help.
