WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND!
As if Excellence in Journalism could get any better, Disney Parks is offering two park hoppers to each conference attendee. What does that get you?
Good for one week, these passes provide access to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure for one full day of admission. To pick up your passes, wear your EIJ13 lanyard to the Disney Parks table located next to the registration desk in the Journalism Expo Hall during hours that registration is open. These tickets are valued at $139. Don't miss out on your chance to say hi to Mickey Mouse for FREE.
LDF AUCTION DONATIONS
One of the most important events at our annual convention is the Legal Defense Fund auction. Journalists belong in the courts to find truth, not to be hindered by subpoenas challenging their rights. For years, the LDF has been a support system for those who find themselves in trouble while defending press freedoms. You can help with this important cause by donating an item to the LDF auction today. All items are accepted, from historic memorabilia to nerdy journalism trinkets and homemade crafts to brand-new electronics.
The deadline for submitting donations is July 26. Please send donations, along with the donation form, to:
Society of Professional Journalists
Attn: LDF Auction
3909 N. Meridian St.
