Sue Russell is an award-winning California-based journalist and author. She has had over 1,500 articles published, is a former magazine editor, and a longtime contributor to many top British and U.S. publications. Her work has been published in The Washington Post, Pacific Standard Magazine.com, Miller-McCune.com, GE's healthymagination blog, American Legion, Good Housekeeping, Redbook, Court TV's Crime Library, etc. and in the UK in publications like the Daily Telegraph, The Independent, etc., plus in Australia's The Bulletin, Japan's Daily Yomiuri, and international magazines like Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, the Sunday Express Review, Hello!, Irish Tatler, Success Magazine, et al.
As an investigative journalist and feature writer, Sue reports on a wide range of topics including wrongful convictions, forensics, fire investigations and arson, animal research and animal rights law. Her books are as diverse as her articles. She has written about prophylactic cancer surgery, global violence against women, girl gangs, alternative medicine, business success stories and personal profiles. In over two decades of interviewing celebrities she has profiled more stars than she can count but the list includes Tom Cruise, Christina Aguilera, Brad Pitt, Mel Gibson, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Her book, LETHAL INTENT, a Pinnacle True Crime Classic is a biography of serial killer Aileen Wuornos who shot seven men to death in Florida and was executed in October 2002.

Sue also writes books collaboratively and welcomes enquiries from those seeking an experienced collaborator, book doctor or ghostwriter, or a developmental editor or editor.
