Work has previously appeared: Local/Regional Magazine, National Radio, Online Newsmagazine, Online Trade Magazine, Web Log, Book Publishing

My forte: Translating difficult subject matter into lively, readable copy. My specialty: Personal finance, with a keen eye on taxes. My passion: Helping people attain a better understanding of how to make, save and wisely spend their money. I created the tax component for Bankrate.com and have served as editor and primary writer for that site for the last 10 years. I blend tax and other personal finance topics in my monthly AustinWoman magazine column, "Worth." I am a regular contributor of articles to various online business (NFIB, Business.com) and investment company (T. Rowe Price) sites. A collection of my tax articles is included in the book, "The Gambler's Guide to Taxes" (Kensington Press). And in between projects, I offer tax and personal finance advice via two blogs, Don't Mess With Taxes (http://www.dontmesswithtaxes.typepad.com/) and Eye on the IRS (http://www.bankrate.com/brm/itax/news/tax_update.asp??).
