My objective is to transport proven skills and abilities as an entertainment journalist, into an established, multi-media entertainment environment that offers opportunity and a challenging career for budding young talent.

My credentials include being a seasoned entertainment journalist, holding extensive experience in red carpet coverage, using robust interviews to cover press junkets, on camera reports, accompanied with superb writing skills for fast-paced deadline coverage.

I have been a freelance reporter for Star Magazine for one year and report on breaking news and cover high-profile red carpet events including, “American Idol” “The Peoples Choice Awards”, “The Directors Guild Awards” and “ESPY Awards.” I Conducts celebrity interviews including: Sheryl Crow, Matthew McConaughey and Sandra Bullock.

I Interned at Us Weekly Magazine from August 2007- September 2008 where I interviewed high profile celebrities including: Eva Longoria-Parker, Reese Witherspoon and Robert Downey Jr. I Conducted background reporting, observed red carpet coverage and attended press junkets. I also Provided training for new interns while Reporting to the West Coast Editor and Chief.

I also Interned at Metromix.com Los Angeles (LA Times)from June 2007-August 2007 where I helped launch this (entertainment) related website by researching, reporting and writing my inside perspective to local trends and hotspots. Acted as web producer, assisted editors, fact checked and contributed coordination of the online website.

I started as my career in journalism as an intern for Feedback Magazine from January 2007- June 2007 where I wrote four published feature stories on music, careers and entertainment. Pitched story ideas and wrote articles on deadline.

I have earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, and Communications California State University, Northridge
