Janelle Gann-Austin’s love of words and reading has led to a variety of writing-related jobs. She has worked as a reporter, editor, and technical writer. In March of 2010 she published the fourth edition of “A Kid’s Guide to Kansas City,” a guide book detailing family-friendly activities and places to visit in Kansas City and St. Joseph, MO. After graduation from Benton High School in St. Joseph, MO, she attended Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas where she earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in mass communications and political science.
Janelle also holds a Master of Arts degree in management from Baker University’s School of Professional and Graduate Studies in Overland Park, Kansas. In addition to writing, she enjoys cooking, crafts, and being a co-leader of her daughter’s Girl Scout troop. Her work can be found on examiner.com and suite101.com.
