Specializes in: Arts, Profiles, Entertainment, Lifestyle, Technology
In 2008 I earned a Bachelor of Science in news-editorial journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I focused my writing on arts and entertainment. I introduced video game coverage to the campus alternative weekly, Buzz magazine while writing weekly features and designing pages for the award-winning student newspaper, The Daily Illini. Senior year I enrolled in a game design course where I learned about accessibility options for the disabled. Intrigued by the topic, I discovered AbleGamers.com, a Web site for gamers with disabilities, and became a regular contributor. I have also contributed articles to Time Out Chicago, Chicago, and Café magazines. I am currently associate editor at Game Informer magazine, the world's #1 video game magazine with a circulation of more than four million.
