During my 20 years as a freelance journalist, I’ve written about a variety of subjects, including financial markets, classical music, and sports. I have a proven track record of meeting deadlines, working closely with editors, and providing insightful camera-ready copy. I'm the author of three investment books and have penned hundreds of articles for prestigious financial publications, including Barron’s and Bloomberg. My “Historical Perspectives” column has been published by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel since 1994. I co-authored a script for the “Secrets of the Great Investors” series narrated by Louis Rukeyser. My latest book, a critically acclaimed biography of the conductor Carlo Maria Giulini, was published by the University of Illinois Press in 2010. I’ve also written stories for Inside Wisconsin Sports and Wisconsin Golfer. Please visit my website for more information.
