Bekki Y. Wasmuth is a freelance photojournalist. She graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Photography. Prior to that she studied liberal arts at Oakland Community College in Michigan, where she grew up. A sense of community and environmental preservation are very important to her. She is in her element photographing concert and theater performances, art festivals and activist rallies.
