I am Italian, based in Bologna. I would like to offer my expertise on everything Italian, especially travel-related and food-related stories, as well as anything that has to do with current events and trends in Italy.

I lived in California for six years.
I studied print and broadcast journalism at UCLA and worked for a Los Angeles-based wire service after completing my program. At City News Service, I was responsible for writing the Weekly Budget, a calendar listing all major news events scheduled to take place in the Los Angeles area each upcoming week. I also wrote local hard news and feature stories.

Upon returning to Italy three years ago, I began working in the field of international education. I have then decided to get back into journalism because it is my true passion and my calling. I am currently freelancing full-time, both for Italian and British/American outlets. I collaborate with a Milan-based news agency that has an office in Los Angeles and have covered the awards season in LA for them. I also write for their website and for national newspapers about entertainment. In Italy, I mainly cover stories about travel, food, current events and human-interest stories for British and American publications.

I also started my own website in English dedicated to my hometown, Bologna, and the surrounding region of Emilia-Romagna. It is called Bologna Uncovered (you can find the link to my website above).
