I am the managing editor of Demokratizatsiya: The Journal of Post-Soviet Democratization, a quarterly, peer-reviewed academic journal focusing on Russia and the post-Soviet states. I have held previous editing positions at Change: The Magazine of Higher Learning and at Preservation, the magazine of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. I am also a freelance editor and freelance writer, having written various articles for local and national periodicals over the past nine years. I received my BA in English Literature from the Catholic University of America and my MA in writing from the Johns Hopkins University.
