I am a writer and have been since I was a little. I have devoted most of my life to writing, and, in particular journalism. I recently resigned my post as a columnist and award-winning business reporter for the Albuquerque Journal to attend graduate school at Emerson College in the writing and publishing program. At the Albuquerque Journal, I covered restaurants, retail, tourism, community business, consumer issues, economic development and more. I am a 2006 graduate of the University of New Mexico and was editor in chief of the New Mexico Daily Lobo from 2005-2006. I am a 2010 graduate of Leadership New Mexico’s Connect program and served as vice chair for the curriculum committee for the program in 2011. I also recently resigned my post as a board member for SPJ’s Rio Grande chapter.
