Jennifer Nicole Sullivan is a writer at Real Simple, a Time Inc. magazine in New York City. She’s a fashion, arts and entertainment contributing writer for the weekly paper Newport Mercury in Newport, R.I. Previously, as a Newport Mercury staff writer, she reviewed theater throughout Rhode Island and interviewed numerous celebrities, musicians, designers and authors.

Jennifer began her journalism career as a features reporter at the Corpus Christi Caller-Times, a daily Scripps newspaper in South Texas. Credits include: Military Spouse, NewYork.com, Rhode Island Home & Design, SO Rhode Island, Newport Patch, South County Independent and The Tusculum Review.

With a master's degree in English and bachelor's degrees in theater and radio-TV-film, Jennifer is well-versed in a broad range of subjects including entertainment, pop culture, literature and the arts. She's lived in several cities throughout Texas (Dallas, Austin, Corpus Christi), Los Angeles, Yokosuka, Japan, Newport, R.I., and currently in Manhattan.
