I'd like to consider myself a versatile writer, well versed in anything from hard news to features, opinion, entertainment and sports. I've also written fiction with characters described as "jump[ing] off the screen."
I'm currently the managing editor of The Prince George's Sentinel, which I have been since May 2006. In that position, I subscribe to Jock Lauterer's theories of community journalism, but I am willing to tackle issues that stretch beyond one local county in Maryland.
