Work has previously appeared: Daily Newspaper, Community Newspaper, Local/Regional Magazine, Trade Magazine, Newsletter

The first time a newspaper paid me for writing, I was 14-years-old, and, besides freelancing as the community beat writer for my small town, I was serving as editor of the high school newspaper in between involvement in drill team, pep club, and school sports. I was thrilled that something that came so naturally to me, would actually provide a paycheck. Best of all, I knew that the stories I wrote, could influence and improve lives. At 14, I knew that journalism and communication would be my life calling. My career includes executive and staff positions leading and implementing communication for global and national organizations -- successfully influencing and changing lives through stories. Contact me to find out how I can help you and your organization meet your goals.
