Megan Kamerick has been a journalist for more than 20 years, working in Milwaukee, San Antonio, New Orleans and Albuquerque, where she is now based. Her print background is primarily in business reporting and editing.
She received awards for investigative pieces, arts coverage, environmental stories, profiles, breaking news, and radio interviews. She was named outstanding small business journalist in New Mexico by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Currently, she is the host of Morning Edition on KUNM-FM and is a correspondent for New Mexico PBS. She freelances for radio and podcasts as well. She was previously the producer and host of “Public Square” and producer of "New Mexico in Focus" on New Mexico PBS .
Megan is the past president of the Journalism & Women Symposium. Her talk on women and media is featured on www.ted.com.
