I want to use the SPJ as a tool to get my inspirational/creative writing out in the open. I am confident that as a SPJ member, this will provide me the opportunity to get my work examined by professional writers. Basically, I am working to get my feet wet in the professional world of journalism. I am self-driven to write whatever I feel is prompted in my heart. My goal is to challenge and inspire people through my writing. I do not want to write about complicated philosophies that people would find intricate to fathom. Rather, my purpose is to simply publish writing that is practical to every day life.
