I can also be reached via calls to +1 (615) 290-5578. Texts must be sent to the listed French number.

Presently based in southwestern France and well-traveled, I am particularly interested in international reporting projects. I have a wide network of international sources and have passport, will travel. :-) I specialize in connecting with real people on the ground and on really listening to learn what is being missed or misreported by others. If I weren’t a journalist, I would be an anthropologist. I prefer staying with the locals over being isolated from them in a hotel.

I have covered stories in places as diverse as Haiti, India, London, and Togo, and so many other places. (It’s a good life!) My French is now sufficient for interviews and constantly improving – an interview is much better without a translator in the middle!

Additionally, I am an experienced editor, copyeditor, and proofreader skilled at improving pieces while maintaining their author's voice. I am also an experienced magazine editor, managing issues from conception to print.

And last but not least, I can now add translation from French to English to my bag o’ skills that are at your disposal.

Give me an assignment, and I will probably do way too many interviews to fit the wordcount. That’s my M.O. – always trying to find one more fascinating voice to include.
