I hope everything is well, my name is Jeremy McDonald, a up-and-rising 26-year-old journalist.
I have covered high school sports the past two years in California in a high-pace environment (as well as some junior college stuff as well) and learned how to sharpen my skills as a writer by doing preview-, game- and feature-stories on a regular basis since graduating from Southern Oregon in 2013. My strengths as a writer lie with features, but I can do everything. I look at myself as a well-rounded writer with the ability to write almost everything underneath the moon.
My lone kryptonite as a writer is my writing. This is only because I am still so young as a writer that my inexperience shows at times and because I believe writing is not perfected by a certain age or experience level. The best way to learn and to get better is to go out and do it. All I'm looking for is a chance to prove myself in this field as a young journalist.
I do live in Wilsonville, but travel is not an issue for me and I'm available to cover and write whenever! I am pretty flexible with my schedule.
