I've been covering business and lifestyle topics for more than 20 years. My business specialties are insurance and health care, and lately I've been doing a lot of writing about gardening and bicycling in the Seattle area. I'm the author of the guidebook, "Biking Puget Sound: 50 Rides from Olympia to the San Juans," published by Mountaineers Books, March 2007. I'm self-directed, know how to research, have many contacts and never miss a deadline. I am always looking for a new and interesting assignment!
