I'd particularly like to call your attention to the following: Shoreland close to opening doors SSA detailed: Proposal may increase taxes by 40 percent and In the Morgan Shoal, local educators and naturalists see a valuable resource.

I am an experienced journalist, writer and nonprofit fundraiser with over a decade of professional experience. In the past I’ve worked in a variety of industries, from newspapers and magazines, to nonprofits and e-learning. In my career, I have had the opportunity to work on a huge variety of topics and creating accurate and clear work has always at the bedrock of my process. I’ve built engaging social and email campaigns, performed technical research and worked to communicate complex subjects to a wide audience. I am skilled with translating complicated subject matter into accessible, clearly written content and tools. I have written a broad variety of documents over my career including books, articles, courses, calls-to-action, social media posts, infographics, e-books, scripts, press releases and more.

Today I am a freelance writer and editor living on Chicago’s Northwest side. My work touches on environmental justice, specifically in the Great Lakes region. I’m experienced with crafting compelling messages that educate the public on vital issues, while raising money towards a larger goal.
