Work has previously appeared: National Daily Newspaper, Daily Newspaper, Community Newspaper, Local/Regional Magazine, National Television, Local Television, National Radio, Local Radio, Book Publishing

I'm a proven, reliable reporter and editor with about 15 years of journalism success. I take every assignment seriously and pay great attention to detail.

For the last five years, I've worked solely as a freelancer. For about a year and a half, I did legal stringing for Bloomberg News and also have written stories for The Associated Press, HONOLULU Magazine, Hawaii Business Magazine, The Tulsa News, Stephens Media and others.

Prior to that, I spent nearly a decade at The AP, writing thousands of articles quickly and accurately. I worked in the Indianapolis and Minneapolis bureaus, but the biggest chunk of my time with The AP was as supervisory correspondent at the Minnesota statehouse. I managed the crew that covered the ever-colorful Jesse Ventura's time as governor. We also covered other important state and national government issues and elections.

Before starting with The AP, I worked as a business and city government reporter for a daily newspaper.

I've won numerous writing awards and love being a journalist. I served as president of Minnesota's SPJ chapter. I have tried over the years to give back to the profession by sitting on journalism panels and participating in various conferences and activities.

If you hire me, the assignment will be done correctly and on time. Every time.
