A native of Myrtle Beach, SC, David Anderson Jr. currently lives in the triangle area of North Carolina. He is more than willing to travel to other regions and neighboring states for interesting assignments. In 2007, David earned a journalism degree, as well as a minor in history, from Appalachian State University. While still a student in Boone, NC, he published a number of stories in the university's student newspaper, a local weekly newspaper and a glossy news magazine targeted at the area's affluent population and eco-tourists. David worked as a staff writer for The Daily Record until January 2009 When his position was eliminated as part of company wide cutbacks. The Record is a daily paper of that covers a rural area of three counties and several quaint towns rich in agricultural heritage. Founded more than 50 years ago, The Record is delivered to about 10,000 homes each morning. With professional experience interviewing local and state politicians, U.S. senators and congressmen, prominent business leaders, criminals and victims of tragedy, David is well-qualified to handle nearly any assignment. David has broad range of personal interests and a passion for knowledge that motivates him to seek out new, exciting information related to whatever topic he may be focused on at the moment.
