Bio (click to expand) As a staff reporter-turned-freelance journalist, Anna Pratt, who lives in Minneapolis, Minn., has ventured into garbage houses, spent the night in a homeless shelter and witnessed a fistfight in a church basement, all for various stories. Her byline has appeared in the Star Tribune, The Line, the Southwest Journal, the Minnesota Independent and several suburban and community papers, web publications and broadcast media in the Twin Cities. Pratt is active with the Society of Professional Journalists' freelance community and she serves as the treasurer for the award-winning Minnesota Pro Chapter of SPJ.

Durling earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, was Vice President and institutional broker with a global financial services company, and later a marketing strategy consultant. After publishing her first article as front-page feature for a city daily on Y2K, Durling authored A Girl and Her Money (Thomas Nelson 2003).

Durling has appeared on CNBC's Squawk Box as subject matter expert, WGN-TV and other national, local live news and talk shows.

An executive-level communicator, marketing strategist and media coach, Durling also teaches financial literacy in Chicago's housing projects.

She is Department Editor for FHI http://www.forherinformation.com, columnist for two private financial publications, and was "Money Makeover" columnist for BeE Woman magazine, http://www.beemag.com.
