Bio (click to expand) As a staff reporter-turned-freelance journalist, Anna Pratt, who lives in Minneapolis, Minn., has ventured into garbage houses, spent the night in a homeless shelter and witnessed a fistfight in a church basement, all for various stories. Her byline has appeared in the Star Tribune, The Line, the Southwest Journal, the Minnesota Independent and several suburban and community papers, web publications and broadcast media in the Twin Cities. Pratt is active with the Society of Professional Journalists' freelance community and she serves as the treasurer for the award-winning Minnesota Pro Chapter of SPJ.

Veteran journalist Pat Terry launched her career at Fairchild (business) Publications, Cleveland, before moving to lifestyle at the Chicago Tribune, Women's Wear Daily and Home Furnishings Daily in Chicago. After a stint in nonprofit association PR (housewares, floorcovering, art and home rehab expos), she's back in journalism as a home/garden, real estate, travel, environmental and nature writer -- for such publications as the Chicago Tribune "Good Eating" and "Travel" sections, Midwest Home Chicago and the Chicago Sun-Times "Real Estate HomeLife" section, GreensceneUSA.com (suspended) and rugnews.com. Her photos have appeared in the Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, St. Louis Post and Denver Post, accompanying her own articles and Cliff Terry's travel stories.
