Specializes in: Profiles, Entertainment, Travel, Animals, Environment, Chicago, wine, romantic issues
I am a columnist for “Letter from Chicago,” and authoress of A Poet’s Moon. My writing style has a romantic undertone. Yet I am also influenced by Mike Royko. I write about all aspects of Chicago, including history, events, Chicago ghosts, local icons, and personal experiences.
My magazine articles cover travel destinations, like Mackinac Island and the Grand Hotel, as well as mingling at sailboat regattas, and partaking in a “Murder Mystery” weekend.
I write about wines from an “afficionada” point of view, making readers comfortable while intriguing them. As for animals, I write about my two cats, Mozart and Marlowe. I cover earth-friendly subjects including green roofs, green housing, Fair Trade coffees, and Great Lakes organizations and initiatives.
I love to travel and share my experiences on paper. And I defend romance.
