In May 2007, I graduated from Michigan State University with my Master's of Art in Journalism and now reside in Columbia, Missouri where I will be attending the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law to student media law beginning in the fall of 2007.
While at Michigan State University, I worked with the Knight Center for Environmental Journalism as the advertising manager for EJ Magazine, an award-winning, student-run environmental magazine.
I have worked or interned for the Cheboygan (MI)Daily Tribune, the Washington Times in Washington, D.C., Central Michigan Life in Mt. Pleasant, MI, and Capital News Service.
Capital News Service is a wire service of Michigan State University in which correspondents cover the state capital for 25+ daily and weekly newspapers throughout Michigan. As part of this service, my work has appeared in the Oakland Press, Lansing State Journal, Holland Sentinel, South Bend Tribune and several other newspapers.
