A freelance writer for nearly 10 years, I have written on a wide variety of topics for national and regional magazines, newspapers and Web sites. My specialties and interests include consumer health, fitness, nutrition, women's interests, travel and health care. I have experience working on staff at several prominent women's magazines, including Woman's Day and Ladies' Home Journal, and have been published in numerous other publications, including Glamour, SELF, Redbook and Fitness. I am a regular contributor of a monthly fitness column and an ongoing nutrition column to the San Diego Union-Tribune and write regularly on nursing and health care topics for NurseZone.com. Additionally, I produce several monthly e-newsletters for San Diego Magazine on topics including entertainment, philanthropy, weddings, home design and travel.
