Work has previously appeared: ADVANCE for Nurses magazine (February 2008), Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, Waco Tribune-Herald, Gainesville Daily Register, Exclusively Fort Worth

I spent five years on the copy desk at a 55,000-circulation daily newspaper before moving into the education field. I did some writing during that time, but not enough to slake my thirst. My years as an editor have honed my writing skills, and I am eager to put them to use again. I am passionate about religion and health/wellness, but I can tackle just about any topic except sports. I have a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of North Texas and am working on my master's degree in American Studies at Baylor University. I am the assistant media adviser for Baylor Student Publications. E-mail is the quickest way to reach me.
