Nathaniel Shuda is a senior print journalism student at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and currently serves as a news editor of the school's student newspaper, The Spectator. Other professional experiences include working for the Buyers’ Guide Group (a subsidiary of Journal Communications) and for Gannett Wisconsin Newspapers as a production assistant and freelance reporter, respectively. After graduation, Shuda hopes to work for a metropolitan newspaper and might set his sights on earning a graduate degree in journalism. And while he plans to continue in the world of black and white, he might still turn toward broadcast or new-media journalism. In addition to working for The Spectator, Shuda is also actively involved in several campus organizations including the Society of Professional Journalists.
