When I first started writing professionally -- after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in mass communications in 1997 -- I hoped people would compliment me on my GREAT writing style.

I have learned over the past 10 years that INFORMATION should draw a reader, and as soon as he becomes aware of the writing, you've lost him.

Now, people tell me my articles are "refreshing." I am an enterprise journalist. That means I have about 8 ideas a day and I am looking for more markets and venues to pitch and eventually publish those ideas.

My most recent effort is conceiving, building and managing the TheAngelJournal.com, a news and social networking portal for high-net worth investors of start-up companies. I produced 6 print editions, managed 10-20 freelance writers and designers per month and moderated a panel on "Angel Investing in Today's Economy" back in May.

My byline appears regularly in the South Florida Business Journal and LatinaVoz.com, and I have published articles over the span of my career in the San Francisco Chronicle, Pacific News Service, the Ann Arbor News, among a handful of other newspapers and magazines.

I love being a journalist. And I'm nuts about making deadlines. I look forward to hearing from you.
