I have been behind the desk as an editor and understand the importance of meeting deadlines and crafting strong stories for each publication I work with. I approach each assignment in a professional manner and complete each assignment thoroughly and ethically. My curiosity and resourcefulness allow me to consistently find fresh, interesting and timely stories. I have a BFA in Photography from the University of Arizona and am completing my MA in Journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder. I re-launched the Denver VOICE, a monthly grassroots publication focusing on poverty and homeless issues in Denver and surrounding areas, with my colleagues. After editing and writing on staff since August 2007, I continue to be involved as a contributing editor. Professional references and clips available upon request.
