Work has previously appeared: National Daily Newspaper, Regional Daily Newspaper, National Magazine, Local/Regional Magazine, Websites, Newsletters

I write health and wellness articles for national and regional magazines and newspapers as well as websites. Regular clients include MayoClinic.com and the Minneapolis Star Tribune newspaper. I decided to focus on writing about health because it's the topic I'm most passionate about. I convey information to readers in a user-friendly, easy-to-understand manner so they can make informed choices toward better health. Before I began my freelance health writing career, I spent five years as a newspaper reporter. I wrote for the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Wall Street Journal and Kansas City Star. I graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in 2004 and am now working toward a certification in personal training (NASM) and yoga.
