Work has previously appeared: Daily Newspaper, Community Newspaper, Local/Regional Magazine

I am a graduate of Indiana University who has covered politics at the local, state and national level (2008 Iowa Caucus). While my beat reporting days have focused on politics, government and business, I have also profiled cage fighters, the kingpin of a multi-state drug cartel and an Elvis impersonator.

I am comfortable with hard news, investigative reporting and features. I enjoy breaking news and writing a light-hearted piece on a local volunteer.

I received my degree in journalism from Indiana University, with a minor in political science.
