Ruthanne Johnson is a long time resident of Colorado who specializes in profile, historical and travel writing, especially on subjects in the midwest and western United States. She has traveled extensively worldwide and been exposed to a great diversity of cultures; from sailing the Class III waters of the Grenadines to exploring the exotic lands of Turkey; from scuba diving the turquoise waters off Zanzibar to driving the checkerboard roads that harness America's shortgrass prairie. Her sales background combined with almost 10 years working with Hospice patients as a Certified Massage Therapist has helped her to develop introspective interview skills and the attention to detail necessary in writing. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a BA in English and American West History and has been published in The Aurora Guide, Boulder County Home & Garden, Boulder Magazine, The Denver Urban Spectrum, Massage & Bodywork Magazine, The Metropolitan Newspaper, and www.10Best.com. Ruthanne believes that everyone has a story . . .
