Work has previously appeared: Community Newspaper, National Magazine, Local/Regional Magazine, Trade Magazine, Online Newsmagazine

After graduating from the University of Miami with a degree in Creative Writing and a minor in journalism, I worked as an editor at a start-up publication on Miami Beach until I realized that writing was my true passion. I've been freelancing since 2005 and love the interview process--meeting new people and getting to hear their stories. My experience in writing for newspapers and regional magazines, combined with a Bachelor’s degree in fiction, makes for features with strong characterization and sense of place. No topic is off limits for me—I see it as a chance to keep learning something new every day.
