Work has previously appeared: Midwest Living, AAA Home & Away, the Indianapolis Star, Indianapolis Monthly, North Magazine, South Magazine, and many other local and regional publications

My specialty is great stories, plain and simple. I write crisp, accurate, compelling tales about memorable travel destinations, mouth-watering meals and the most interesting people in town. Based in Indianapolis, I write regularly for regional magazines and newspapers, such as Midwest Living, AAA Home & Away and the Indianapolis Star. As a grammar geek with obsessive organizational skills, I also complete writing and editing projects for corporate and nonprofit clients, including several commercial publishers. I have a bachelor's degree in journalism and English from Indiana University and an MBA from Butler University. I am now working toward an MFA in creative writing, also from Butler University.
