I get results, never leave a job unfinished, take criticism well, and always meet my deadline. I'm also adventurous and feel there is no story I wouldn't try to cover. I’ve worked on both coasts and in Central and South America. I’ve traveled to Asia and lived in Europe. I served two years in the Peace Corps in Belize working as a teacher. After getting my Masters in journalism, I worked as a reporter at the Post-Tribune outside Chicago. Then I worked outside Atlanta for more than a year covering Gwinnett County. Before that, I worked as an I.T. professional. I dig backpack journalism, MOJOs and believe a story can always be better. I entered this profession because I wanted to be someone who made a difference. In my spare time, I love to take a Scuba and lay on the beach with a good book. Balance is key.
