I'm a veteran journalist who’s covered it all. I was a productive story hound who covered the largest geographic area of any freelancer for a major U.S. daily newspaper. I’ve helmed national b2b and trade magazines, pioneered business-oriented Web content, was among the first regular contributors to one of the nation’s earliest successful online health-information ventures, have edited health-care and legal-issues newsletters, and have proven myself as a top-shelf wordsmith, and a forward-looking editorial-operations manager and content innovator. I offer a variety of client services that I sum up this way: EDITING, WRITING AND TEACHING SERVICES • Journalism – editing, reporting, copyediting, proofreading and research • General and specialty (business, legal, medical, religion) editing and writing • Editorial-development and –improvement consulting • Writing coaching • Newsroom-management consulting • Mentoring for professionals and students
