Work has previously appeared: Daily Newspaper, Community Newspaper, National Magazine, Local/Regional Magazine, Online Newsmagazine, Newsletter, Web Log

I am a journalist with more than 25 years experience writing about all forms of news, with a specialty in covering arts and entertainment (music, theater, art, and "quirky stuff"), indoor and outdoors sports (cycling, bike touring, backcountry skiing, hiking, training, yoga, Olympics), brewing and tasting beer and wine, extreme jobs (search and rescue crews, ski patrols), product testing, as well as hard and breaking news, features and human interest profiles. At this stage, I have the ability to write about anything.
I also worked as the entertainment editor at weekly and daily newspapers, was newspaper stringer, and have contributed to numerous regional (Colorado) and national magazines.
Available immediately for any and all assignments.
