An award-winning medical writer/editor and formerly New York Bureau Chief for the International Medical News Group (Reed Elsevier), I reported on medical meetings in this country and abroad on all clinical and research specialties in publications for physicians as well as online. A stringer for The New York Times on Long Island from 1980-1995, I was Publications and Director for the Dept. of Public Affairs at NYU Medical Center from 1980-1984, where I worked effectively with department chairs to produce brochures and articles for internal and external publications. I am able to conduct incisive,scoop-caliber interviews with experts in all specialties and to produce polished copy on deadline. Currently living in Jersey City, I am available for travel and to cover meetings and events in New York City on short notice.
